yep, definitely choking

you fell in love, baby

I can imagine what it felt like

in an ironic turn of events
I am experiencing symptoms similar to that
falling in love, I mean
the air rushes out of your lungs
almost like your chest doesn't have room for your heart
your eyes probably squeezed shut, too
your mind was racing so fast that it sort of felt like you were thinking of nothing at all
but where you probably ended your epiphany with a smile, one of the beautiful and small ones you save for times when you're alone
I finished with a panic attack and a sleepless night
the kicker is that I still love you
I still love you
and I can't imagine a world where I don't
