Yes a Book

A Book
Yes a Book!
Was all it took.
One little look,
And there was the hook.

They took me away,
To a place I could play,
And taught me new things,
For which I could say.

From there came the pen,
To which would pick up,
Again and again.

In secrecy I would write,
And dream as I might,
That I would become,
quite the sight.

To publish a book
For the children who took,
My very heat away.

A Book
Yes a Book!
Was all it took.
