Yes, Of Course, Please, and Thank You

Yes, Of Course, Please, and Thank You,

The United States Department of E-D-U,

Yes, Of Course, Please, and Thank You,

In their grand benevolence is delighted to do,

Yes, Of Course, Please, and Thank You,

And through everlasting altruisim they do hereby bestow,

Yes, Of Course, Please, and Thank You,

A fucking number on your head that follows wherever you go.

No, Of Course, Please, and Thank You,

I used to have a name made of letters and sounds

No, Of Course, Please and Thank You,

But my SAT scores seem to just drown this out

No, Of Course, Please, and Thank You,

Behind the curtain I have thoughts, dreams and pursuits,

No, Of Course, Please, and Thank You,

But if it's not a number then the world just can't compute

No, No, Please, and Thank You,

They see any disagreement as a studnet, classrom coup

No, No, Please, and Thank You,

So if your teacher thinks one way you better think like that too,

No, No, Please, and Thank You,

Oh, you have your own ideas? Well that doesn't fit our mold,

No, No, Please, and Thank You

So just sit the fuck down and do exactly as your told!

No, No, No, and Thank You

What if John Steward Mill never defended free speech?

No, No, No, and Thank You,

Or Rosa Parks just relented and sat in the backseat?

No, No, No, and Thank You,

Well that's exactly the type of student that America grows

No, No, No, and Thank You,

Druged behind a curtain in mental repose,

No, No, No, and Thank You

It's time the student's of America shed the cloak and stop the show,

No, No, No, and Thank You,

And express ourselves like all the people who changed the statis quo,

No, No, No, and Thank You,

So in the name of Van Gogh, Thoreau, and Rousseau,

No, No, No, and Thank You,

We say: No, No, FUCK NO!
