Yes, I am.
No, I don't have perfect skin;
I get a zit every here and there.
No, I don't have perfect taste;
I throw on whatever I wear.
No, my hair isn’t smooth and flat;
Though I try, it never does that.
No, my body isn’t at its peak.
And often I mumble when I speak.
My nose is big and eyes are small
But I’ve got assurance through it all.
Because even when I’m at my worst,
I know that Jesus puts me first
He’s here beside me, through thick and thin
He’ll always guide me- beginning to end
So when I get angry ‘bout how I’m made,
I think about the price he paid
And when I think I’m not in His plan
His whisper tells me, “Yes, I am.”
