Yes, I'm 20, but There's a Girl I Cannot Live Without
If I were stranded,
Alone on an island,
I would not bring an object or a tool for survival,
But rather, my girlfriend and my best friend.
I know, it sounds crazy that I am only twenty years old,
And cannot live without a girl in my life,
But she is my everything you see,
And with her by my side, everything is all right.
Together, we would have two minds,
Working together for solutions,
Gathering survival supplies,
And having each other’s backs through thick and thin.
Being in isolation, solitude, or alone,
Is the worst thing for a human soul.
Not only would I suffer because I’d miss her,
But I’d also go insane without someone to communicate with.
Being stranded on an island,
Would be one of the worst things in the world,
But being lost without my girlfriend, and my best friend,
Is a thought that makes my toes curl.
I would take my girlfriend with me to a deserted island,
And together, we would survive,
And come out being healthy, happy,
And most importantly, alive.
