Yes, that is my name

My name is the Ocean, yes, that is my name
Ever since climate change I've never been the same
I keep going from hot to cold and I can't make up my mind
Will I continue this through the end of time?
My children are dying because I am lying
I keep changing their habitat even though I'm not trying
I keep trying, trying hard to fight
In the end, I make it worse by creating tsunamis and hurricanes at night
I try to plead with humans by looking peaceful during the day
They make it worse when they think I'm a trash can and they throw their garbage away
This affects me greatly since there is more pollution
I know there are some people who are trying to come up with a solution
I need a cure, and I need it fast
How come people forget about me, but not their grass?
Without me you would never get to see my beautiful children alive
But now they're gonna die because of climate change changing my tides
The only way to get some help is to create a catastrophe
Then scientist will know that there is this climate change that is changing me
Maybe then I can get the help I need
No one yet knows that climate change makes me bleed
I am now on television claiming my fame
My name is the Ocean, yes, that is my name
