YES WE ARE GREAT

They use to call us ugly

They use to hate us for no reason

Beat us down ,in any season

Our skin color is different

Darker than most

Very rich and beautiful

But they told us different

They told us to hate ourselves

That we'll never be anything

But guess what , we are more than something

Black excellence

Black girl magic

Have you heard of it

We're striving to be great

So forget the fakes

We're creating different opportunities

YES WE ARE GREAT
