~Yesterday Is Forgotten~

I know that this was in the past.

I know that my sins were never forgiven.

And my mistakes were never accepted.

But can I ever let the memory that scars my mind go?

Yesterday is forgotten.

Today is another day.

But when she looked me straight in my eyes

And said her last goodbye.

I started to gain back that memory

What I should have done.

What I could have done.

What I did, What I didn't

And

What was the right thing to do.

Yesterday is forgotten.

Today is another day.

But when I gave my last kiss to her seductive lips of evil

And said my last goodbye

I was bleeding from my heart

And I didn't know why.

Until I realized she carved it right out of my chest.

And imprinted our last initials on it.

I know it was my choice.

I know that it was my fault.

And the pain I went through every single night,

But can i ever forgive and let go?

Yesterday is forgotten.

Today is another day.

But when I said my last goodbye

She was never there.

She was never there to start.

She never existed and I was slowly fading away from her existence.

Yesterday is forgotten.

Today is another day.

But when I said those last 3 words to her

(I love you..)

It went in one ear and out the other

And now she has forgotten completely.

I can still get you to fall in love with me.

I can make you fall hard again

But this time

I wont be there to catch you.

I can teach you how to love again

But

I cant teach you like before.

Your unteachable now.

I can make sure your safe

But this time

I wont be watching over you.

I can not see the unseen.

Yesterday is forgotten.

Today is another day.

But when that special day comes

Just know that...

Yesterday was never forgotten.

And

Today is our day.

I know that you wished and hoped that I would stay.

But dear Lexi everything will be okay.

Just know that you will soon learn one day.

So be strong honey and tell me everything will be okay.

Yes!

Yesterday is forgotten.

Today is another day.

But when that special day comes

Just know that...

Yesterday was never forgotten.

And

So be strong Lex.

Just lay down and try to relax.

There is no need to attack.

So please put down your bloody axe.

There is no need to take your life over mine.

(No!)

I will not let you step over that sinister line.

(Yes!)

Yesterday is forgotten dear...

And today is another day!
