Yesterday's Affliction is Tomorrow's Glory

The storms of life, wave upon wave

The current of death pulling me down to the grave

With no rescue in sight, I prepared for the worst

The weight of this world, I was drowning in thirst

But out of the darkness came a marvelous Light

Drawn out of the waters, shores of peace in my sight

Fear no longer gripping my soul

I was once in broken pieces, but now I am whole

An overwhelming calm feels the atmosphere

The storm has passed and now all is clear

At times, it was hard in my story

But Yesterday's Affliction is Tomorrow's Glory
