Yesterday's Dream

What ever happened to our American dream?
Did it fade in the past,
Like all the fads we thought would last?
Are we living it day to day without realization?
We just need some confirmation.
The American dream used to be so vital.
Now generations sit back and act so
entitled.
We use to have to fight for our dreams,
But now we are addicted to foolish Internet memes.
