Yesterday's Tomorrow
Looking at the skies
The stars are full of lies
Because every light we see could be long gone
And there's no way to know
Truths come and they go
And yet our lives must just keep moving on
Live in yesterday's tomorrow
Leave no stone unturned
Each mistake and pain and sorrow
Is a lesson that you've learned
Everything we've got
Is just a tiny spot
The Universe goes on and on and on
In your little world
Ideas turned and twirled
But the right one will rise up with the dawn
Live in yesterday's tomorrow
Leave no stone unturned
Each mistake and pain and sorrow
Is a lesson that you've learned
Forgive but don't forget
Because it's not over yet
Someday in retrospect you'll see what's right
The world will turn
And everything you learn
Will help you to rise up with your own might
