Yet...They Called Him
He had no servants, yet they called him master.
He had no degree or diploma, yet they called him teacher and Rabbi.
Had no medicines, yet they called him healer, and miracle worker.
Had no army and wasn't a king; yet kings and authorities feared him.
Never fought in a battle, yet he conquered the world.
He was convicted of being guilty, even though he was completely innocent.
Committed no crime, yet He was nailed to a cross, and died and was buried all for our sake.
To come to this broken and sinful world and endure a pain that we could never endure on our own.
Yet he lives today, His name is Jesus Christ!
At the cross, darkness rejoiced as though heaven had lost, but then out of the tomb, the Savior of the world arose with our freedom in hand, and defeated death once and for all.
Now seated at the right hand of God, to come again to judge the living and the dead.
Not only to judge, but to bring all sons and daughters to our eternal home in heaven with the Father.
Mark 10:45~"For the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many."
