Happiness is good, and sadness as well
For both are signals of the sensations one felt
Happiness without the other is like an empty ecstasy,
a meaningless sensation of colors and joy
Sadness without its other is like a prison,
a hell that resembles a cruel void

To have both is to be human.
To have neither is to be a rock.
To deny the these truths is like remembering a woman,
whose name you regretfully forgot.

So let this be a lesson for all those alienated and maimed,
by their own emotions and faults.
You need not pour on the wound some salt,
For you are only a beautiful person, imperfect but humane.
