You.
Dear...You,
I am only seventeen years old but yet I am thinking of
You.
I think I know exactly what I want but really I am clueless,
I fantasize and I dream about what it must be like.
I am not even an adult yet but still I am thinking of
You.
I am surrounded by girls so far ahead of me,
Even people my age who know what it feels like.
I have not even had my first kiss yet but still I think about
You.
I read about it in books and I see it in movies,
I am constantly surrounded by it and I want it for myself.
I have not even graduated high school yet but I can’t seem to get my mind off of
You.
I know it is out there somewhere,
It is so close I can taste it.
I do not know what being in love feels like yet but I do know that I want it with
You.
I do not know who you are,
I do not know what you look like,
I do not know where you are from,
I do not know where I will meet you,
And I do not know if I already have.
But I do know
That I am going to fall in love with
You...
That I am going to hold on to
You,
And never let go.
I do not know what my future holds but somehow I cannot stop thinking about
You
At just seventeen years old.
Sincerely...
Me.
