For You
I made new friends
changed my clothes
chugged down irresponsible amounts of liquor
lived long nights that I still don't completely remember,
Just trying to get you out of my system.
Only to come home
lay in bed listen to music we used to play on the road
and remember what we used to have.
Everything I did to forget you could not add up to the joy I feel even thinking about you gives me
