You

Waiting.

Waiting for the chance to get you back.

Losing.

Losing patience as everything I see moves on while I can't.

Done.

Done listening to your excuses.

No.

No more dealing with the pain of deciding.

Take.

Take this opportunity to think about what you should do better next time.

Never.

Never can I let myself slip so close to you again.

Sliding.

Sliding in and out of happiness because I don't know how I should feel.

Feelings.

Feelings keep rebounding themselves around my heart, leaving me a mess.

Messy.

Messy is all that we are, for I know you cannot rest either.

Nearly.

Nearly lost you, but I can't bear to get too far from your embrace.

Leave.

Leave me now, but come a bit closer to spare my heart.

Please.

Please let me go, and leave my heart behind you.

Gabi The Good

Several of my poems are long. I have some that are short, with not many in between. Most of them are more personal, based on my experiences. My main inspiration is my dreams.
