Red eyed and heavy lids.
 
The cold hands wrapping around the neck.
 
Slowly tightening with every “i love you.”
 
Harsh laughs and cornering.
 
When was “no” forgotten.
 
That summer night, with the thick air and aching stomachs.
 
The memory is long gone.
