you

you made me feel weightless,

like i could float through the night and caress the stars.

you made me feel free,

like i could inhale the wind and let go of the puppeteering strings from my grasp.

you made me feel loved,

like i had consumed the sun and would never be cold again.

you made me feel happy,

like i would never get wet in the rain again

but most importantly,

you made me feel safe,

like i could never be hurt again whilst you were holding me
