I love you without a particular form; a country without borders, the
wind that traverses it. My love will always walk with you, it will
always be waiting for you around each curve in your path, it will
always be there to lend you strength for the journey around each bend.
Look up and you will find it, whispered into the cosmos by every dying
star with its last breath. Consistent as the rolling wave, shameless
as the mountain, it knows and calls you by name. It will be your
shield, the ground you stand on and your wings should you so need it.
It will bear the burden in silence. You shall not want. You shall not
know lack. It will raise you up. It will be where you land, softly,
without a bruise to tarnish you. It is the flame that devours all and
the embers that warm through the duration of the solstice. It forced
the root from the seed, and then encouraged it to push towards the
light. Look behind you, it has filled the space of your yesterdays. It
has become its own tomorrow. Poets construct phrases to bear witness,
clothing it with words. It will always remain naked. It will be trod
underfoot, it will desire no other elevation except your acceptance.
It will become war, the gentleness of light flitting beneath trees
while the sun shines overhead. For you
