You

three words I love you it can be uttered so easily around you and I think how it only took one moment to know you were my forever I think of a familiar smile kind and warm eyes staring back at me from the screen the familiar laugh or tone of that beautiful voice jokes to make me laugh and teasing to keep me going through the day. God I love you so much that my mind won't let me stop thinking about you I see your face in the busy traffic and hear your laugh in the breeze think of you when I see the moon knowing you see the sun. I think of you when I tie my converse. when I go to school. when I paint on the canvases. God I think of you. I think of you when the world is quiet at night. when the sun rises in the morning with its beautiful glow. If only I could simply just reach out brush my fingertips across your skin, feel your warmth or even see your smile. I would cross the sky cross the oceans and rivers to reach you. yet here I am. a girl with no way to reach you. no way to touch your skin or hold your hand. lonely. lonely is the word I use to describe my heart the way I feel right now. lonely is the empty hand lonely is my skin cold am I sitting here in a wasteland of emotion. alone.
