YOU

What happened to goodbye?

You left without a trace

Gone for good, never to return

You don’t understand, you never did

This love only grows

I cannot stop it

No matter how much I try

You are gone, but my love for you remains

Get out of my mind

Out of my life and out of my heart

Forever ruined, broken beyond repair

No suture can save this heart

You touched my life

My heart was yours

And now you are gone

Along with my heart

But my soul is here to stay

Until you come back for it too
