YOU

YOU

You are what counts

You should dedicate all your accomplishments to yourself

No one should be able to own up to what you did for yourself

Everything is awesome when you accomplish it

When you stand on top of that mountain and look down

What do you see?

All those that tried to hold you down but look!

What do you see in front of you, look up,

You see what you accomplished

The things you see are a clear blue sky and a beautiful view in front of you

Things seems dark now and I have to tell myself over and over that I'll be okay

"You will be okay,"

I repeat

"You can do this,"

I say whisper

"You will beat all this,"

I scream and I know I will.

My life is my life.

Everything is awesome when I know I overcame a mountain to stand on top and look at all that I left behind to get here

I know in my heart,

"You did this. YOU."
