You
You were the one,
Whom I gave my heart to.
You spoke,
The voice today I dread.
Your words were sweet,
They were followed by hope.
I felt alive,
But there was something else.
Hidden in those,
were the lies you told.
I was blind with love,
You... had the heart of black.
The way you hurt me,
You stuck a knife through my heart.
But nothing hurt more,
Than the knife I put to my wrist.
The blood runs down my arm,
Like when you ran from our love.
My screams are faint,
They don't hear my cry for help.
Why would you hurt me?
Why would you fake our love?
Can't you see my tears?
Do you see the blood that drips?
Why does this hurt?
Why can't I move on?
Do I deserve to live?
Is it my time?
This isn't what I need to know,
These questions are to scary to ask.
But the one question I need to answer,
why does this poem end with you?
