This is For You

This is for you, Mom, Dad,

All those that listen even when my mind is dark.

This is for you, friends,

Who listen even when only slander emerges.

I never meant to hurt you,

To hurt anyone,

I only meant to hurt my thoughts,

Murder and silence them,

So I can feel peace once more.

This is for you, Baba,

Who I never truly got to say goodbye.

This is for you, family,

Who only see the light and refuse to see the dark.

I never meant to hurt you,

To hurt anyone,

I only meant to hurt my thoughts,

Murder and silence them,

So I can feel peace once more.
