You

I was the dust in the middle of the sun

Always happy
Never the broken one
I didn't think you'd leave
But you walked out right in front of me

But then you came crashing down
Pierced me with your broken flames
Now I could never love the same
I can't stand on my own two feet
Lying on the black pavement in the lonely street

You were always the one
You were the only beat to this drum
You silenced the sweet melody
And I know
That love like ours
Was never meant to be
