For you

Every poem I ever scribbled in a notebook,

and every song I ever sang in the shower,

was meant for you.

every time I woke up with a smile,

you were there.

in my mind.

in my heart.

you will always be there.

I must have known you would come,

this is why I have been happy.

And in a single moment my soul

recognized you

and said,

"There you are,

I have been waiting for you"
