You

I was never one to face myself, now I know exactly where you're coming from. I'm playing our song, at our old spot, where we would meet under the stars. We used to have everything, even though kept apart, and they tried by all means. But even that wasn't enough, we found our ways, remember when I followed you in a parade? I dressed like a boy, so your dad wouldn't recognize me, but even he realized, they couldn't get imbetween. Our love. Our devotion. There was nothing but each other. We had a relationship like no other. Then it changed, well I did, and left you waiting, hoping you would forgive. You didnt, and never will, it's my fault I know. I never meant to let you go. Then a chance came, you were there again, but that bond we had, never re-flamed. I wish I could take it all back, the fights, long nights, me overreacting. But we cant, we could only hope to move on, I just never knew that soon you'd be gone. There's many things, I want to tell you. Like how I love everything about you. Even if my world is falling apart, you'll still have a place in my heart. Because we both know how we've been lately, is not ourselves, but we're in the middle of changing. You're growing into a man, and will do great things in life, I just hope you know that and never think twice. I want to say thank you, for the good memories, there's way more than anyone would believe. As I walk our road, old images flood, like when I firat saw you, you were a stud. And still are, and will always be, at least you know, to me. I'm not prepared yet to let go, but I can see the hurt you know? People will say I'm stupid, dumb for even thinking that, but I still believe we could bring it back. If all it took all along, was giving you time, you know I'd give you all of mine. I know I'm not ready, but at least this will help, for now I'll store all my thoughts on a shelf. I'm sorry I can't be happy, right off the bat, but I love you with everything, you still know that. Just know that im here, even when I disappear. Because I can't help but smile, every time I come here, and think of what we've shared. If ever you want to come back and talk, I'll be here, under our tree, watching the stars.
