For You

How could you How can you just sit there and not stand up, For yourself? For me? Why do I keep on getting hit? With loads so heavy, It doesn't even fit Upon the shoulders of someone so small, So thoughtful, so quiet, yet still standing so tall. Tall at heart and in mind Knowing she shouldn't have to stand up at all. Every blow she takes For you Not herself, But for You. She takes every hit, every stride, every smile Every frown, every blow, every deffense, She takes it all for you. Why does she do it? She does it for you. She's too strong to see you get hit With the winds so strong they'll slip your hand out of hers. To blow you so far away, You'd fall off the Earth. So while you stand there Behind this poor girl's shield. She stands there and fights For YOU.
