YOU

constantly thinking of you

buy only if you knew

remembering when we went to the lake

thinking that would be the day

you fancied the birches and roses

while i admired the primroses

you were intelligent to talk to

i was irrelevant and a walking fool

i should've told you that day

it would've been perfect by the bay

but when i looked back

the storm was turning black
