This is for You

Just another one, looking out the window On this lonely night, got no one but me Don’t need anyone, independent like a widow Go on, leave me, I like to be free I see the phonies everywhere, none much better than me Painted faces, oh painted faces, you’re no different Lost souls searching for a sense of importance, an identity It seems like that’s what we’re all searching for these days—be patient. We’re all wanderers, only just that some don’t realize Most of us go through that stage, like Holden It’s fine, because one day, you will recognize That not everything has an answer—time is golden Keep playing your favorite music Dance to your favorite beat Make your own pick Fervor is yours, ignite the heat Go with wherever your heart takes you Whatever it is, the end result will be perfectly brewed
