You

When alone and deserted

My attention still can't be diverted

There's only one thing I need

Only one thing I breathe

You.

My hopes and my dreams,

What do they even mean

If you with you I cannot share?

Without you I do not dare

Try.

You're my best friend and my lover.

You're my safety and my cover.

You're my warmth when I am cold.

You help me to be bold

Too.

Alone and with fright,

Your presence would delight

The innermost of being

Just from seein

You.
