You
I knock on your door in the still air,
the hush of silence showed no more care,
I brushed it off as it came aglow,
the light shot beams through your window,
With nothing but heartache I shared for you,
and your face just reminded me of the pain that grew,
One drop hit the ground before I could move,
my shameful tears, you did not approve,
But yet my Dear, why do I cry for you?
For heaven's sake, what did I do?
Your shouts didn't help as I broke to the ground,
and yet you still repeated that awful sound,
You left me there trembling in fear,
for what seemed not an hour, but a whole entire year,
As the seasons pass and time has no meaning,
I realized my heart has not stopped beating,
Can it be that "I" who was once your love,
survived my decay to rise above?
Can it be that "you", once so mighty and strong,
fell through the cracks to admit that you're wrong?
Yes I do believe that it is me who has finished through,
after all, the fault is not in me, but "You."
