you

When I met you, it was like

finding the

crispest greenest newest

dollar bill

on the streets of the city and picking it up

quickly walking away

and smiling so wide,

from ear to ear,

because

when I am met you

I was in a dark place

and my smile

( like the nile itself)

is grand and great and wide

but had its secrets

(you’re my secret)

(you are like that dollar bill)
