For You
For you I will trap myself
I will tell myself that you lie to me and lay your hands on my because you love me.
I won't run, I'll pretend to not be afraid but once I'm alone, I break.
I will hate myself, the way I speak and the way I think.
I won't stop believing that one day you will treat me differently.
I will torture myslf with the thought.
All because of a little four letter word and what I think it means.
And because of you I will never love like this again.
For you I am breaking free.
I will never fear you.
I won't ever believe again.
For myself, I will stop loving you and begin repairing my own broken soul.
Because of you I am leaving this trap, and never looking back.
