To You
I am not only here to be a lover to you,
but also to be a friend,
to be a guiding light,
an ear to listen,
a body to hold.
I am here to make you better in any way I can,
to help you stand on your own feet,
to stand among giants,
to be the man you're meant to be.
I am here to be the order to your chaos,
the light to your darkness.
I am here to help you, in any endeavor,
to be your right hand,
to offer advice when you need,
to console you when you're sad,
to calm you when you're angry,
to give you everything when you have nothing,
to be beside you in health and in sickness,
happiness and sadness,
to raise you up, above all other men,
to give you peace when you are troubled,
to give you a place to belong,
and to belong to you, and with you.
