YOU

I start to look back at all of my life
The mistakes and the pain, my life rearranged
And as I recall the cause of my pain
One thing comes to mind, betrayal and games

The markings were left, the scars of my time
Reminders of what I cannot define
But now that you’re here my vision is cleared
I see through my tears, the pain disappears.

The light starts to shine and brightens the night
No darkness confines the light in your eyes
The memories will fade as you hold my hand
Holding me tight you walk by my side.

The map is redrawn, the pencil erased
Now marked in black pen my happiness placed
You felt my scars, you know my pain
You covered the hurt, you made my life change.
