you

it feels as easy as a smile

and as light as a breath

a night full of stars ruled entirely by you

it feels like looking at the sky from a field of sunflowers

like arms thrown across shoulders

and whispers woven with giggles

and fingers through your hair

it feels like the first gasp of air

and the sun after the storm

the warmth of bodies intertwined

it feels like running freely wherever you want

with no care for who’s watching

it feels like you.
