you
dear you,
it's you.
everything has always been you.
when i try to find my happy place,
to calm down,
you're what comes to mind.
when i am uncertain of making decisions,
you provide the aide i need because i know you have my best interest at heart.
everything has always been you.
you're the reason i am no longer lost in the darkness of my own mind.
surrounded by a vast majority of dull greys and blues,
i was lost for quite some time and i was unsure of how to find my way out;
you were the light that allowed me to change my color spectrum to bright yellows and oranges.
ever since i met you,
six hundred and seventy-four days ago, thoughts of you have never left my mind.
i have not fallen into the depths of the darkness i was once in.
life has continually been the colors of awe inspiring sunsets;
bright, magnificent colors.
