to you

Dear you,

You are the best

I hold you above the rest

Your perfect face and golden hair

The beauty I want not to share

Your star sign twins show through the day

But even at bad times your my sunshine ray

We could bicker and fight and go to and fro

But at the worst times I would know

We can stand together as one

You were my princess your prince was I

You were my flower the apple of my eye

A decision I made so long ago

Something I regret but can't change though

Tore us apart to where I can't fix

Now we are thrown all out of the mix

I love you and miss you and want you with me

Without you the same my life will not be

I want nothing more than for you to stay

But as of right now you are the one that got away.
