You

Dear You,

I want to curl up

And stare at the stars

Look at how beautiful the sky is

I want to look at you

And see my everything

To know everything is okay again

I want to kiss your lips

And taste the world

Because that’s what you are to me

I want to feel your breath

And the heat it radiates

Signaling that my love is alive and well

Because you’re my everything

Your eyes are what I could look at;

Your lips are what I could kiss;

Your voice is one I could hear;

Your touch is one I crave;

Forever

Sincerely,

The One That Got Away - But She’d Still Take You Back
