You

You and every letter you hold

You and your sunkissed hair

You and your sly little smirk

You and those never ending love letters

It was me to you.

You were never to me.

It doesn't make sense because it wasn't meant to be.

Listen..

But you never are.

I'm writing millions of letters to an anonymous love

I was cast into a warped bubble of sinking love

You never opened

or exposed your side to heal the broken

I wrote longer and more

They were never opened and never will be

Those millions of letters that sit in my drawers.

Those words to a person who I thought should deserve them and still does,

but does he really?

He has never spoken back.

Never tried to hold me

Or has he, but I was so blind it hurt my heart to understand.

Was I gone for someone else who didn't love me?

Man I was lost.

I still am, but I hide it every day.

Maybe I never learned to love myself first.
