you.

a letter to you-

you shine brighter than a thousand suns. you are every color in the rainbow. you are the song the birds sing and the winds howl. you are made of gold, beautiful thing, know your beauty. the entire galaxy is contained inside your eyes. you are the superhero. you are the villain. you are the lead, and the love interest, and the comedic relief, and the best friend. you are all the best parts and more. you are the sticky sweet watermelon juice dripping down my chin in the hot summer sun. you are the cold waves washing against my legs, pulling me out to you. you are the song stuck in my head, the scene on repeat. you are the movie I watch hundreds of times, and I still laugh and cry when I watch it. you are every sunset and every sunrise, glorious painted colors arching across the sky. you are the last cookie in the jar, the perfect selfie on the first try, every single "yes" ever. every painting is you. every song is sung for you. you. you.

you.
