For You

For You

Dear lost love,

You captivated my heart.

Two weeks was all it took.

I surrendered to you.

I gave up the first love I have ever known.

For You.

Someone I barely knew.

Do you realize that?

Do you realize I was willing to sacrifice my entire life

For You.

Then, you left.

You threw me away without any regrets.

Second thoughts.

Emotion.

You see, for months I cried.

For months I was angry

For months I smoked until my lungs were black as coal.

For months I drank heavily until I passed out.

For months I screamed.

For months I thought of you.

For months I tried contacting you.

Just to find out…

You. Were. Dead.

Just like that my world spun out of control.

I can no longer imagine my world with you back in it.

I can never express how deeply I loved you.

You will never know how bad I have hurt… and still hurt.

For You.

Love,

Alyssa
