You
Dear the girl who doesn't love herself,
I can't sit here and tell you that I know why you don't like youself and I can't sit here and tell you how to change that. What I can do is tell you that you're beautiful, something you don't see even when you look into a mirror. That same mirror you constantly look into to get approval, but what does that show you? It shows you what's on the outside, not what is really on the inside. It does not show you that on the inside you are as beautiful as a sunset. You cannot look into that mirror and believe what you see.You cannot alter the way you look just because you don't like what you see in the mirror. You can't look into that mirror and begin to cry. Yes, your eyes indeed are like a thunderstorm gray, but that doesn't mean it should rain. You are not invisible because I can see you. I can see that smile that you fake. It's not right for you to fake a smile everyday, especially when that smile is as beautiful as yours. When you smile it's like the Earth stops rotating and everything is put in slow-motion. I know you may be reading this and shaking your head no, but everybody has flaws and insecurities. One day you will value yourself as much as I value you. One day may not mean today, but one day means soon. I will constantly remind you that you are stunning and I know you are not confident in yourself, but you should be because I am in you.
Love,
Your future self.
