You almost had it right.
You asked for our opinion.
Our relentless thoughts,
Crawled down the lined page;
Like soldiers in a relvolution.
Only to be shot down,
The second they've reached destination.
You asked for out opinion,
But I guess it wasn't the right one.
With open hearts, and a definitive voice,
We shared the possible,
But you only heard noise.
You silenced it, as soon as possible.
You asked for our opinion.
You wanted it.
You wanted our voice to be heard,
Our dreams to become reality.
Overfilled notebooks, burned at the spine.
You almost had it right.
You had your gun loaded,
Your target eyed.
From the beginning,
You almost had it right.
