You and I

Tears cascading down like ripples of a waterfall

I constantly staring at myself in the mirror

What was I to you, why did you leave me?

Leave me to face all these problems on my own

Now without you, I AM NOTHING

Absolutely nothing

Just a distant memory

An oasis messing up the minds of travelers

A dream that never came true

A wish that was "once upon a time" but dispered

I'm just flowing through the winds

That has taken me up by my hands and feet

Whipping me so fast, I can no longer contain my thoughts

Body, Friends, Family, and most of all you

You're what held me together

You're the one that gave me protection

You're the one that became my hero but now

Now everything is falling apart and I'm losing you

And I know I can never go back to the beginning

I just stand alone. Watching and waiting.

With tears cascading down my face like ripples of a waterfall
