You and Little Ol' Me
Afraid of living
But terrified of dying
I claw at my throat
Desperate to release
Words trapped inside
But all that is left
Are bloody gashes
And ruined pride
Soundless screams
And hoarse whispers
Dictate my ways of
Communication
But no one cares enough
To listen to
Little ol’ me
Little ol’ me has
Nothing to give
And Little ol’ me
Has no reason to live
But Little ol’ me
Keeps trying to win
A hopeless game
That's been rigged
You make me feel
Insane in the
Best possible way
You see the plain
Little ol’ me
And turn my
Faults
Into beauty
You take the
Worst in me
And make it
The best in you
You refuse to see
Me how I see myself
I find it hard to see
Myself the way you do
You take poor
Little ol’ me
And make me
Yours.
You take
Little ol’ me
And make me
Extraordinary
