You and Me

Your eyes light up,

Not only when you talk about your

Dream to get to Mars, but

When you listen to me

Ramble excitedly

About my last trip to the east coast.

You offer support

Both consciously and

Unconsciously.

You hold my hand in yours,

Bring my body beside you,

And make my heart beat in time with yours.

We laugh and

We argue and

We dream and

We cry and

We protect and overall

We love.

Because we’ve been each other’s

Best Friend

Biggest Cheerleader

First Kiss

Closest confidant.

We highlight the stars

In each other’s eyes and

We believe in each other’s

Abilities,

Even when one person doesn’t believe

In themselves.

Our relationships is

Healthy,

Happy,

Quirky,

Beautiful.
