You and Me

a bed

an alarm

in a hurry

a bump

an accident

a spilled coffee

exclamation

annoyance

an apology

a name

an introduction

chemistry?

a number

a call...

(hopefully)

a dinner

a connection

some hesitancy

passion

a kiss,

finally

a month

or two

love reciprocity

a toothbrush

a drawer

an apartment key

a ring

one knee

an eternity?

flowers

a white dress

matrimony

a kick

a glow

pregnancy

a doctor

a long night

a new baby

years

upon years

fidelity

quiet

distance

a little lonely

a crack

a fissure

ignored reality

late nights

hard work

a secretary

white shirt

red lipstick

in the laundry

a fight

an explosion

a discovery

years

upon years

infidelity

heartbreak

tears

agony

a lawyer

a courtcase

custody

a cold bed

an empty seat

a broken family

a deep breath

a fresh start

newfound vitality

time to think

release of anger

just a memory
