You and Me

pain, is something i've known for awhile

hurt, beaten and bruised by the length of time

it took me to realize that you were no good for my heart

now i'm right back at the start

hollow, is something i'll never wish on you

a feeling so lonely i don't know if i can make it through the night

in this...

cold, dark room

the same place where i

once held you

but now you've left

waiting for something we'll never

no, we'll never be

you and me

tears fall, like rain down my window sill

all the, pain i've felt

could never prepare me for you and your ghosts

now i'm stuck in your undertow

i can't see, i can't breathe

you've taken the life right out of me

how does it feel to know it was real, all the love that you

you threw away?

leaving me in this...

cold, dark room

the same place where i

once held you

but i know you're gone

gone somewhere we'll never be

cause we'll never be

maybe you'll think of me

you'll think of these memories

you left behind to haunt me

and you'll decide to want me

but you can not come back

my heart won't survive the attack

believe it or not, i don't want you back

cause i know we'll never be

the you and me

I need
